Post by: Ollieb7 on 18 May 2007, 09:56
I see available for the Audi TT at £150 - any reason the same kit cannot be fitted to the Golf?

I was thinking to install a Sportec short-shifter.
I wonder if that means that the golfball stick has to be replaced also?

I fitted the Forge short shift to my Leon Mk2 TFSi which uses the same 2.0 turbo engine as the Golf Gti.  15 minute job and the results are excellent with the lenght of shift reduction adjustable between zero and 30%.  Very good quality item and reasonably priced at around £70
