illyun,
Your car or pictures of it are being used on ebay? Not sure if they chappie who bought it off you is trying to make a quick buck, though the millege is much less than you stated. So I wonder if someone is using your pics? Or is it someone trying to scam on ebay as usual?
Just thought Id let you know..

Thanks for that guys... a work colleague recognised the car and told me... I will be notifying ebay. This kind of thing never happenned to me until 3 weeks ago when I saw my Edition 30 on Autotrader and rang the guy up to ask why he'd copied my photos... he couldn't give a **ss so I notified Autotrader who removed the ad promptly - and of course didn't refund his money  Another scammer copied and pasted my R32 photos a couple of days later on an ebay auction. I mailed the guy and he said that his ebay account had been hacked into - I notified ebay who didn't do anything - I really can't stand ebay. Then some guy selling his black Edition 30 copied and pasted my text and I had to write to him... and now this. Its really annoying. My Edition 30 went to the dealers - VW Solihull.

the guy with the hacked ebay account story may have been telling the truth. My brother-in-law had some 1500 quid speakers he had sold relisted under his name, with notice to use a different email address,. All without his knowledge, but using his account name.

sorry to hear that. my advice is to put your name on the photos in photoshop. that will stop 'em!
