Title: MK2 Golf GTI:

Hi there, new to the site, just bought my first MK2 Golf GTI:  As my project car:
First ever V.W Golf:  Also first ever twenty year car ever owned, so do not know what I have let myself into, but I am looking to restore as best as can to original Spec (Given myself 3 years), apart from Suspension / Exhaust.  Would like to speak to fellow Dubbers in the South Wales Area for some good honest advise.  Many Thanks

Hiya, not a GTI but a Ryder owner in Cardiff.

Loads of knowledgeable peeps on these boards, I pick up tips from the projects section aswell as the MK2 section.

I also like to read Rubjonny's answers to questions (I think he's the oracle of MK2's or something) :rolleyes:

These people are the dogs nads on golfs http://www.ngmotors.co.uk/ for getting your car running perfect, they're actually pleasant people to talk to aswell, and wont try and stretch a job out to get work. (they're way too busy, because they offer a good prices on their work)
