Title: mk2 rev counter

hey was driving my mk2 1990 gti and  the rev counter just stopped working
i also noticed the M.P.A has stop switching as well but unsure if it happend at the same time was wonderig has anyone else came across the same any help would be good tnx

Yeah, start the car and pull the fuse out, then put back in.

as i recall when this happens it is usally the voltage stabaliser on the back of the clock cluster that has gone belly up.
its quite a common problem and can be fixed by replacing the voltage stabaliser with another one.
also double check that you have a brown earth wire going to the head on the engine as this can effect the clocks.
