Title: MOT HELP!!

My cars due for a MOT by the end of the month, Problem is it wont pass because of my windscreen banner, tinted blinkers and my reverse lights dont work :(

Does anyone know of anyware near the watford area that will do an MOT for me no questions asked  ;)

MOT comes with a blue sticker now so its easier if your know the guy at the MOT station very well that should sort you out.

get a shorter wiper blade so that it doesnt sit over the windscreen banner ???

i think with the tinted blinkers you might just squeeze past.

Reverse lights....checked the bulbs? Im not sure where the reverse light switch is but yours could be faulty?

Remember the MOT is to show that your car is safe so dont risk it by geting a dodgy one :-\

The windscreen banner will only fail if it is seriously low, I would cut it back a little or remove it for the MOT.

The blinkers will be ok as long as they show orange when flashing.

And I don't think reverse lights are part of an MOT.

I do my own MOTs ;D
Hazards? yeah they work. you just have to remove the center console to flick the switch ;D
Split CV boot... yeah I'll do that tomorrow... fair enough.

Fixed the tail lights, Just had to plug em in  ::) hehe

Fixed  the number plates cos of the police damanding that i did it, And ive secured all of the other items  ;D MOT at 11AM tomorrow  ;)

ohhh, good luck mate.  i got my MOT next monday, only thing that ain't working is the rear foggy.....gotta re-wire it, which is a pain.  And my door handle just broke, hmmmm......

I failed on one thing, My front headlamp is a wee bit wobbly because one of the screws fell out, Im just gonna pop one in tomorrow and violia, a new MOT for Fielder  ;D
