I got a new company car today (nissan x trail) and it was bit dirty so i decided to wash it. as i got to the front wings, they dipped in. turns out there plastic. does any one know if its possible 2 get these for my mk3 golf???? jus thoght would make it lighter
-
I sincerely hope not!
-
Hardly worth it as the Mk3 front wings are very small anyway!
The best weight saver would be the bonnet.
-
Make em!!! lol whip up a mould from a spare wing and bobs ur aunties uncles brothers sister in law
-
 so im guessing a carbon bonnet??? where can u get em for a mk3 cause dnt think they make em do they??
can u paint carbon fiber like on F1 cars???
-
I would be worried 'bout it affecting the structural intergrity [star trek moment] of the car.
-
nah the wings are bolt on and not structural. As for a bonnet well that is just dead weight to cover the engine.
-
I'm sure I have seen them on ebay!
-
doors are where the weight is at on a mk3 golf!!!
they do make carbon bonnets for the mk3 there was a dude sellin them at gti festival for £300.

Bit steep but worth a look...
