Title: 1.4 BOTTOM END FIT A 1.3 CYLINDER HEAD

Hi
Been down the scrappy today and theres a 1.4 Mk3 Golf sittin there with tidy mileage.

My question is My sons got a MK2 Ryder 1.3 , will the cylinder head from the 1.3 fit the 1.4 bottom end , without to many problems?.. and will the vernable 2e3 tune up to except the extra 100cc?

Just go buy him a GTI and be done with it !!!  :grin:

Really pisses me off when people say "get a gti"!

Not sure i can help but i know the 1.4 bottom end goes on a mk3 1.3 polo gt. Not sure if that is the same block as the mk2 golf though?

fit the gti engine in the 1.3 ryder & forget to tell the insurance about it ...............cheep tax  :grin: gti performance all round winner  :cool:
