but the good new's is....it was only a brake pipe that need's sorting
and an advisory on my exhaust and a rear bearing....luckily I am looking for a sports exhaust and i have to replace my rear discs soon (so i must change the bearing's anyway) :smiley: :smiley: :smiley:
good old vw's...who would buy anything else as that's the second year she's not needed major work (last year was 2 cracked trye's???)

had my m.o.t. today as well, guess what... failed on the brake pipes!! must be about this age they go...

I had mine done yesterday, it passed but advisory iteams are .
1 rear brakepipe slightly corroded
2 nearside front lower suspension arm rubber bush deteriorrating.
3 Exhaust system has minor leak.
the bloke said he would sort the lot out for £150.does that sound good?

sounds very good to me, cost me £90 for just the rear brake pipes
