Afternoon :)
I have a Mk2 1.6 Driver, and it's got the black "Driver" badge on the rear. How is this stuck on?
I want to remove it, but i don't really want to leave a hole in the rear panel. Hoping it's some sort of adhesive?
Thanks

its probably 'pinned' on, have a feel behind the panel and you'll soon find out.
-
i don't think them ones are pinned on. The big Golf one is though.....
i'm sure i removed it on my old Driver.
-
if its anything like the front driver badge then its just stuck on with some foamy gear
-
ahh right, well rip it off and use some wd40 to remove the sticky gunk.

This i from the Haynes/Max Power Modifying Manual ... hope it helps ...

I simply peeled mine off... Then a bit of lighter fluid took the sticky stuff straight off!
Easy as that... No marks left at all!

*goes to find lighter fluid and runs to the car*

Won't the paint have faded around the badge or is it just mine thats salmon pink .. when it should be classic red

i dont have that problem too much
