Title: topping up power steering fluid
Post by: Blue MK2 on 06 February 2004, 11:13
Ive noticed that my power steering fluid is low and looks to me like it has leaked out over the months by the power steering hose.

Ive heard that the hose is expensive to replace but how expensive exactly ???

Also the tank with the P/S fluid... I cant open it!

What, Were, who and how to drain it please?

Thanx in advance :)

Blue

get a couple of weetabix into ya ;D

to drain it you just disconnect one of the pipes then turn the steering from lock to lock a few times

I used a couple of bit of wood to release the top of mine, you could use a wrench or somet' but be careful you dont damage the top.
