Any-one know why Mk1 Crystal lights "Won't fit Cabby" or so most sites say?

Can't see a difference TBH....  :huh:

main or inners?  either way I thought they were identical as well!

Mains... Not too sure about Inners as mine's got the early (flush) ones...

the only difference I'd have thought would be the inners as the grilles changed on the later cabbys.  I'd say it should fit fine!

The inner crystal lights are designed for the early grill rather than the later ones so the won't sit far enough forward on the later Cab grill...  Headlights are all the same and will fit fine!

Time for a single headlight debadged grill ;)

later cab grills have the same inner spots as 1988 onwards Mk2 Gti
