I often see mk3 Golf's (Ive seen none GTI's, GTI's and VR6's) with the bump strips (plastic underneath the headlights, boothandle and doors) bodycoloured and smoothed...
Now, these cars often had old men driving em, except the GTI/VR6 ones... so were these special edition versions or summet? they also vary on reg's too!
It seems strange if sum1 bodycolours those bits then they would (like I did) bodycolour the bodykit...
anyone know?

i posted about this a while back..
found out from that, and from observation since that..
certain vr6s had those bits on (highlines maybe?) and i've noticed them on TDI's too..

hmmm... maybe it was TDI and not GTI i saw... (i was at a distance)
... still ... limited edition cars get bodycolour bump strips? thats so cheap... cant they ALL have em?? jeeeez
