Ritey then.
Does the 1.4/1.6 16v polo engine fit in the mk3 golf ok? Is this a BIIG job or is it reasonably simple?
If its tricky im going to get hold of the 1.6L polo engine (looks just like my 1.4L AEX engine) and rebuild it over the next few months. Get it fully rebuilt and shiney and new then drop it in, i know that will fit ok with the same loom etc...
Im lucky at the moment, my brother works with healthcare and stores "People lifts" in my garage which can lift an engine

Thought you were going for a Vr6?
Make up yer mind!

lol yes i am going for a VR6 but im keeping my 1.4 to play with.
I did the turbo charged 1.4 and then sold it. I kinda miss having it because it was fun and cheep... and theres the satisfaction of knowing its custom built
So .... this time im gunna rebuild the 1.4/1.6 engine and drop it in, keep it for a backup runabout and its ideal for the mrs when she goes to visit her parants up country. then i have that satisfaction back again
