Its illegal to have the system switched on but not illegal to have it in the car. Most insurance companies will insist that your bottles valve is shut when your on the road. It is illegal to have a bottle with a valve open if your running over the legal limit. However theres nothing wrong with having a bottle rigged up and ready to use as long as the valve is closed and your not boosting when the police are looking ;)

basically its nothing like F&F, No buttons or anything like that, Instead you have a computer mounted on your dash that will tell the system when to engage and dissangage (such as during gear shifts)

It doesnt give you a sudden burst of speed, the best way to describe it is that its kinda like a hondas Vtec system, At around 4k RPM the computer will kick the system in you will feel a sudden increase in performance, However its not enaught to make the world go blurry, Basically it will feel just like your car just got a 100BHP performance increase while moving. Sorta like a turbo but not a subtle and no spool up times.

Then you have to ask your self what sorta system you want

But kit, Have it installed, set computer to tell it when to engage the system, Open the bottle's valve before a race, race, close valve and purge everything out of the system that is not in the bottle, Drive car as usal ;D

Im waiting untill im older, Then im going to get a mk4 R32 and just run it off a bottle. So many plans ;D

most motorway services here are shell.. and i've got one garage kinda near me

the shell site has as map thing where you can search for ones near your postcode

(btw NOS is a name of a brand, a fairly sh!tty brand when it comes to nitros, so i would sugest calling it boost, bottle, squeese, nitros or N2O (the chemical name for it)) ;) Calling it NOS is just 2Fast 2Furious! You might find your self putting on a Aluminium GT wing on your hatchy and be racing people for the "pink slip" ;)
