 just about to order my new edition 30 .Stuck on colour.I really like the candy white but have been put off by peoples reaction about resale value . Your comments would very appreciated

voted for black.

have a look at the MKV section.  few people have posted up pics of their ED30.  its a hard decision mind as they all look  :cool:

if you're worried about resale then go for Black or steel grey.

you'll never go wrong with blacks/greys as the re-sale value is always high but modern cars in white look amazing at the moment!

Loved my steel grey MKV GTTDI - so it gets my vote. :cool:

Would have voted for Reflex silver if it was up there :cool: :cool:

White is alright and looks great, but ONLY for the first day after it has been cleaned

Black too looks good and again only for the first couple of days after cleaning. I wouldn't have black on the ED30 purely for the sake that it doesn't distinguish it from a normal GTI - unless you like the subtle approach :wink:

Any way you look at it you're on to a winner as you chose an ED30 :evil:

mk5s look the shizzle in white for some reason. :cool: As for resale values, hmmmm, yes white may not sell as well as other colours, but how much would the price difference really be in the long (or short) term, I'd say it's very negligible.
