Title: Insurance after a DD conviction.
Post by: Mk2Kezza on 30 April 2007, 21:01
Right, my brother got done by the Rozzers last July on a Sunday morning after a sesh and was just over the limit. Of course this didn't stop him having a 9 month ban. Now thats finished and he's looking to get insurance. While we are pottering with his mk1 GTi, he wants to get insured on his 1.8 Cavalier.

My question is :-

Does anyone know of a company that insures those who have been disqualified and not crusify them for it? He has had a quote of £600 TPFT. Not the end of the world but as he's gone to uni this year its a bit steep.
Oh by the way, he's 27 so not a new driver.

I dont mind having a try for you, dunno how good we will be but its worth a try if you want me too, I initially thought you meant dangerous driving (DD conv), DR is not as bad. PM me your/his number and i will call you tomorrow for a quote.
