Im looking into lowering my car ... its on 14" BBS alloys ... i was wondering if anyone could advise me on how much it could be lowerded? i was thinking maybe 40mm ... would it be noticable?
Sorry if this is a dumb question :undecided:

40mm on 14's is noticable and you get no rubbing with the BBS. Thats the setup i have on mine at the mo and it looks a lot better too imo. The only slight improvement i would make is if the wheels were either a bit fatter or stuck out a bit more to the edge of the arch.
I think you could go to 60mm without any trouble on them wheels.

thanks for the reply, so a lowering kit of 40-55mm would do the job?
You couldnt tell me if the alloys i have on have a specific name could you?
