Title: Mobile phone
Post by: Blowers on 29 April 2007, 23:56
I bought my GTi with a mobile phone holster still in situ. Have no idea what phone was connected. I have a Nokia 6300.
Not sure whether the holster can be adapted, whether I should get some bluetooth connectivity or just have it deinstalled.

Any known Companies who would do this  for me (am in Bucks). Advice appreciated. Thanks

I've used a great company based in Aylesbury a couple of times called CellServ. They come out to you. I'm sure they can advise how to hook up your phone and do a good job.

Google gives them at:

If it was the factory fitted phone prep, then you need the adaptor specific to your phone, which are dealer supplied.  I'm looking at the 6.11.2006 Golf pricelist, but the 6300 isn't listed.  However, the Nokia range seem to be the most up-to-date, in terms of releasing new adaptors.

Pop along to your local stealer, to see if there is an updated list.
