Hi, has anyone or anyone know how esy it would be to but a 1.8T 20valve mk4 lump into a mk 3 golf please?

It would be a big job theres no doubt about that, it would fit ok... but allot would need to be changed.
Personaly i have never done it with a golf but i have done engine conversions before.  ECU, Loom etc.. all has to be changed. If you knowwhat you are doing it shouldnt be to much of a problem. Some one else will know more about this specific job than me.

Standard they are the same as a 16v - so I'm guessing you want a tuned one as well????
