Title: Mk1 Cabby rear badges
Post by: Phil K on 27 April 2007, 12:03
Does anyone know if you can still get the rear badges for the mk1 cab?

I need a vw, volkswagen and Golf GTI badge as the years of washing has started wearing the silver off and the look tierd

I'd also like some replacement Karmann badges but I'm guessing they're rocking horse poop!?!

karmann ones in good condidtoin are poop!

as for the rear badges, they go for silly money nice ones, but i bought the Volkswagen opne for 50p at Gti spring fest, they guy had loads, altho some were missing clips, but at 50p i shoulda got the other one, as the ones on my cab are black.

gunna keep out for some more! good luck in finding some! another option is to paint yours, but its never the same!

you are getting the originals though.it cost me £5.00 for the round vw badge after some tea leaf had mine away.i'll be changing mine as they are a bit weathered as well.

I'd be happy to spend the money on OEM ones tbh... will look into this next time I'm passing my dealer and report back how I get on / how much lighter my pockets are :D
