Title: mk3 2l 16v lumpy tick over
Post by: the gimp on 25 April 2007, 18:45
All the fault codes have been cleared although the knock sensor 2 fault ocationaly reoccurs.

I've replaced the plugs dizzy cap and rotor arm and it runs smooth through the rest of the rev range.

I think so it has a plastic pipe from the airbox leading into it on one side. It should be under the plastic cover.

I cleaned that out and tested it and it apears ok, the redex apears to be starting to work, the tickover is getting less lumpy
