Title: door mirrors

Hi all

I need to upgrade my side mirrors to somthing along the line of dtms  as small as possible with indicaters, has any1 here done this or am i better of sticking with the standerd 1s?

i have seen dtm's on mk1's but i an not too sure how you fit them?  :undecided:

i have a pair of doors in my shed with dtm mirrors attached to the glass. cant get the bloody things off. :angry:

i will post a pic up later - and we can discuss getting them off as well as putting them on  :grin:

its not something i would do, but it wouldnt match the style of the cabby.

R they just superglued onto the glass without the backing plates?

these doors are for sale if anyones interested. they also have audi handles and are apart from missing some seals in excellent condition.

I always thought to install them you had to remove the seals, screw the dtms back in place then put the seal back over it.. (could be wrong though).

well on these doors theyve just been glued on with something bloody strong.

i bought the doors off someone breaking their show cab that they couldnt get a good price for

and someone else had bought the mirrors but we never got them off. i could try harder but would

probably end up needing new glass  :rolleyes:

they looked brill on the car they was on, he was e38 member i ll have a look round for a pic. make me an offer if u like they are like i said very very nice  :cool:
