Title: '90 16v replacing a gear lever ball.. Do I have to loosen the Magnex manifold?
Post by: gixerthrasher on 25 April 2007, 09:40
I've just bought a replacement gear shift ball kit with retaining plate, have read all previous questions related to fitting one and would like to know is it possible to fit the ball without moving my Magnex exhaust manifold, so as to release the gearshift housing from underneath?
Am I right in thinking that replacing the ball will stop the grating into reverse?
Any pointers you good fellows can give will help, or at least cut down on the amount of swearing
