Title: POLISHED N PORTED HEAD

 :smiley: JUST PURCHASED A POLISHED N PORTED HEAD PROBLEM IS IT ONLY HAS 4 SHELLS HOLDING CAMSHAFT IN POSITION (old head has 5) NO SIGNS IT WAS EVER THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE AS THERE IS NO WEAR TO CAM IN THAT POSITION IS THIS CORRECT AS I HAVE ONLY SEEN PICTURES OF HEADS WITH 5 SHELLS CHEERS MARTIN :huh:

I know that mk1 git heads have 5 and mk2 digifant head has 4 so thats probably what you have mate

yep hydralic tappet heads only have 4 cam caps, there's an oil squirter there instead.
You might find the head is from a digifant car as caddyrage says, which means your old k-jet injectors wont fit. Easily solved though, simply unscrew the injector inserts from your old head, and screw them into the new one :)

You may have to swap things like coolant fnanges over as well if the new head has them.
