Maybe, but you don't need to get out of the seat with a leccy one.
-
but you get wet quicker when it rains! :nerd:
-
Hmmmmm, not really Han as you're covered by the rain quicker in a leccy one as you're already in the car, than you would be in a manual one as you're actually stood outside in the rain.
-
did you not see the thing on brainiac about getting wet in the rain if you are moving or sitting still?
i dont know what im arguing anymore gibby, but i love you! lololol (swift change of subject)
-
i was considering an electric hood but i enjoy putting the roof down and just pressing a button is for posh people lol
-
well after finaly gettin the cabrio thurs night that included 9 hour journey i can now see how quick and easy manual is, so it will be staying as it was made!!
-
yeah, i wanted an electric, that was purely cos i didnt thnk i'd be capable of doing it! LOL. but if i can do it anyone can!
-
its not as easy as you would think, you need the switch, loom & motor for a start. But you also need mount brackets welding into the car, and the hood frame itself is also different!
-
^^^ far too much effort
-
Think i will deff give it a miss plus its just to easy to press a button!!!

depends on who's doing it  - its over rated having electric hood anyhow, thus why I prefer manual as well, even though I have electric hood in my cab.

who bodges it in you mean ;)
