Here's one for you.
Front seats on a 3 door, they only tilt forwards when you want to get in the back yes? Here lies the problem, I have a small boy who's rapidly getting bigger so getting him in and out of the car is becoming tricky, so of course the missus is complaining that we need a bigger 5 door car. I really really don't want to part with my car, I absolutely love it to bits, it took forever to find and I couldn't bear to part with it but you know how the other half can be sometimes!!
So what I could do with is a fairly cheap and easy solution to this problem.
Would it be easy enough to find some front seats out of another VAG motor and drop them in or is it more hassle than it's worth? Any ideas what car I could rob them out of? And as with everything these days I haven't much cash to spare.
I really could do with some help coz the pressure is really mounting to get rid.

so wat exactly is the problem? :undecided:
-
eh??
you want seats that tilt forward so you can get your boy in the back? your seats in your current golf tilt forward dont they?
As I read it your misses wants a 5 door, you dont, so you want a solution to get your kid in at out easier.....
.... dont think there is any other option than tilting the seats forward
..or cut a hole in the rear quarter and hinge it so you can get the kid in and out

How old is the child? Is he still in a car seat? If so stick his seat in the front and make ur missus go in the back!
Either that or just give in mate coz your missus will make your life hell until you wise up and get a 5 door!

You have a boot don't you? Put him in there and stop complaining!
Thats where children belong

Get another car for the wife and child and keep your a kid free zone

I personally would stick him in the boot but that suggestion didn't go down to well when I mentioned it.
I forgot to say I wanted to fit tilt and slide style seats where they move forward as well as tilting to make it easier to strap him into his seat. oops
