Title: MkV wheels on an old TT?
Post by: Ollieb7 on 21 April 2007, 20:27
My wife has been wanting a TT for a while now so i'm trying to persuade her to get the 240 sport. Problem? apart from the fact that it will prob handle like a bag 'o', is that it has spoke'ie , spoke'ie wheels - cleaning of these will undoubtedly come down to me - solution - the black rockinghams from the Golf, tidy with the black roof and easy to clean - but do they fit - my guess is that they do as i've seen Audi A8 19" jobbies on both - anyone know for sure??

nope... TT QS Mk1 is 5x100, offset in low 30s, high 20s - you alloys are 5x112, offset 50ish

the wheels that come on a sport quattro are 2 different sizes 8 inch wide fronts and 8.5 rears with slightly different offsets too, audi messed around in this department to get the handling a bit better, and the car does handle a lot better than a normal 225. personally i would leave the sport quattro wheels on it as its a special addition blah blah blah
