If this has been posted before, sorry I used the search but couldn't find anything corresponding.
I'm after one of the those oem double din MK4 nav units.
A friend told me he saw them at ultimate dubs.
What are they like, I'm not expecting the navigation to be top notch but are they worth having?
Is there a CD slot?
Price, place to buy? worth buying?
Any advice on the above mentioned will be gratefully received
Thanks, Dan

Ebay is your best bet. there were two versions D & G; G being the latter.
Can't comment on the navigation side as i don't have one myself. There is no CD slot but you can link a CD changer to it.

That seller also does the version D for £290.
with regards to worth buying I'd say that depends on how often you think you're going to use it. If you're going to use it a lot then I'd say get it as it's a smart addition to the interior.

I have recently put one in, I got mine from ebay, got a genuine boot mounted changer. The Navi is cool, even better on mine because it has the full height computer on the dash so it shows you directions on there.
The navi is good if you get the updated CD, its got postcodes and points of interest on it.
The sound quality is very good, far better than the standard unit and on a par with my old alpine mp3 4x60w unit.
