Not fantastic to be honest, I guess it depends on the radio reception where you live.

I fitted mine and checked the signal strength (If you hold down the MENU button whilst on FM or AM, until the radio emits a 'beep' the display will then alter to show a signal meter for the station you are listening to), the signal on Radio 1 dropped from 70% to 40%.  There is a second aerial in the rear window but this didn't seem to help me.  I switched straight back to the OEM version.

That said, they look good and the service from Parts4euro was first class, incl free delivery to the UK.

That's a pity. Picked up my Edition 30 today, and was considering one of these aerials.

Hill Hold is an option available on imports (and in the UK if you push the dealers, apparently).

I couldn't find much about it online before ordering, but for £60 I thought I'd try it.  Using some witchcraft (or a tilt switch), it knows if you're on a slope, then when you release the brake pedal it holds the brakes on for upto 3 seconds to allow you to get your right foot on the accelerator.  I initially assumed that DSG would hold the car on a hill like a standard auto.  Like most things VW, it should really be standard with DSG.  But I'm sure everyone will tell me DSG cars don't roll anywhere and I've been had!!

But it works really well and doesn't resist pulling away, works in forward & reverse gears.

We miss out on all the fun options over here - distance controlled cruise control (£700), 30 different colours including R32 Deep Blue Pearl (£250), etc.
