My rear axle bushes are shot to pieces and I would like to replace with Poly bushes instead of stock. However I cannot find anyone who does this particular bush in poly. Does anyone have any ideas?

If it has 5stud wheel's (gti/vr6) powerflex list them...
try this link http://www.powerflex.co.uk/products.asp?cat=0037&catalog=0237&submit1.x=19&submit1.y=8 (http://www.powerflex.co.uk/products.asp?cat=0037&catalog=0237&submit1.x=19&submit1.y=8)
just make sure you want these bushes as they are not to everybody's taste and i think they make the rear too stiff

The standard ones are pretty good. Poly ones will make it very harsh!

I have poly-bushed rear suspension and can hardly tell the difference in ride quality. I got mine from Demon Tweeks. Unless you have lots of time and patience, don't fit them yourself. You've been warned!

Thanks for all your advice. Not so sure about poly now as I have also read other comments about it being a harsh ride on other threads. I wanted to do this myself as I have worked on other cars before but I think the less painful and frustrating way is to get it done by a mechanic.
Once again thanks all.

use poly-bushes mate if yer keepin the car, if not, bang normal crappy bushes on it, they'll be good for 40k at least....
