21k GTI DSG.
Drove 30 miles today to see a client - was with him about 30mins - and upon restarting, the car went about 5meters, refused to rev, then ground to a halt.
I flipped the bonnet (like I'd know what to look for ), turned it over three or four times, and it started. Been fine ever since.
Anyone else experienced this ??

Had something similar to this on my TDI DSG and it was a faulty ecu controller unit and was replaced under warranty (would have cost £600 ).
The fault I had became dangerous as it stalled on me when coming out of a T junction
Unsure if this is the same fault though. :undecided:
Was it as if it simply died on you when you put the accellerator down, almost like a stall when you lift the clutch too quickly on a manual without giving it enough revs? If so it may be a similar type fault.

Dunno, never done that
Yes it was.
I probably oughta get it looked at then.
Thanks.
