went to look at some parts for my car yesterday, whilst i was there the guy noticed my sunroof and said he has never seen one like it b4(he said he has had 8 mk3s) it does not slide open it just opens upwards. i thought it might of been because it has a/c but he said that does not matter.on the log book it says the car is a gti 16v 2000 so was wondering if its a ltd edition or sumert is this right?
-
a 2000?
thought they stopped making the mk3 in 1998?
-
cars that have a/c normally dont have a sunroof do they...
id expect its an aftermarket kit.
-
get some fotos of it uploaded love.... lets take a look see
-
i know they stopped making them in 1998 thats what has confused me, im gonna check up on it. you can get sunroofs with a/c they come as an extra think you had to pay for them when they were made.
-
Ive got a/c and a fully operetional vag sunroof...seen a few like mine so its not thata rare.
-
Thats correct vicky.
Air-con and sunroof had to be a paid for option.
The only difference to this being late models where they stuck everything on to sell em off!
vicky that must be an aftermarket job if its only a tilt.
