Post by: L8 on 13 April 2007, 10:14
Can someone help me please got a set of Montreal II wheels spare from my mk4 but was thinking of puting
them on my mk3 gti front wheels went on ok  but when it came to the back ones the centre dust cap over the wheel bearing was making the centre vw cap pop off would i need a spacer? what size? and would i need longer wheel bolts if this is the case?

ive put a set of mk4 wheels on my mk3 last night, same problem, either grind the f**k*r down or as you said fit spacers :)
longer bolts usually come with the spacers too

watch spacers though, they can be dodgy.
