Does anyone know if the start point is adjustable, the reason i ask is that on my motor there's no slack point and as a result I have to lift my foot right off the pedal when changing gear, if I don't the revs stay up slightly and gearchanges are jerky.
So I thought if it could be adjusted to give a little bit of free play, like in the old cable days, it might help.

Hmmm . . .
. . . . it's all to do with emmissions regs. On high engine revs over-run, the throttle butterfly is held partially open, even with the foot fully off the throttle pedal. There is a way to defeat it - but it involves dabbing the brake pedal, but that would only be usefull on down-shifts!
You could always ask the main stealer, to see if there is an updated map for the ECU!

That's a thought, cheers TT.
