Hi peoples, well stupid question here but I am new and no nothing about golf’s. I basically want to change my aerial which is the basic pull up silver one and I want to change it but I don’t want a roof aerial what can I do?

HI, and welcome!
You can get interior ones that take power from the head unit to amplifiy the signal and attach themselves to the inside of the windscreen. Might be worth a look in your local Halfrauds.
If you are removing the old one you will need to get at it thru the wheel arch, or you can always leave it there as you will just have to unplug the co-ax lead when you fit the new one.

thanks for the help dude.

you can get a blanking plate for where your old aerial used to be from a new spec 16v iirc.

is it a hard job putting in a bee sting. thanks

its a matter of removing the headlining, feeding a cable for the areal and drilling a hole... if you're confident doing that then go for it!
