this is my dad's mk1 gti from back in 84
he bought it, one year old. it was a standard silver 1600 gti when he got it.

but the mods soon followed . . . .

zender over bumper bodykit
3 piece roof spoiler
bottom half painted dark grey
mmm nice backflash thing
koni shocks
1800 engine

we'd go out as a family in this - mum dad and 3 kids. what a car!!!

i was only 10 when he got that car but i knew a lifetime of dubs was waiting for me.
