Title: mk2 electric window wont close

i opened my drivers window today and it wouldnt close, it moved up about 2 inches but wouldnt go anymore, so i put it down again and then tried to close it and it is now fully open. anyone got an idea to what it might be? the switch seems fine as the interior light dims and you can hear a slight sound from the motor when it is pressed

and is there anyway to close it manually for the mean time?

hi mate unfortunately sounds like your regulator has gone, take off the door card and undo the four carrier 10 mil botls and try and move the glass, the problem is you need to get at two more bolts which really need the window to be halfway down, try that and let me knw how you get on.  :smiley:
