Title: Schmidt 16x9j's Yay or Nay???
Post by: Dub-77 on 03 April 2007, 17:59: been offered some 16x9j Schmidt Moder line wheels today, my big question is how much arch work will be req to get these to fit?

I allready have the rear arche lips cut away but my front wings are std with a set of G60 arches rivited on.

Post by: ...joe on 03 April 2007, 20:23: depends what offset they are, should be ok on the rears if you've had them worked, fronts might need a bit of rolling to clear when you turn etc. sweet wheels though!

Post by: Dub-77 on 03 April 2007, 20:59: Only 20mm over a std gti if I'm right in thinking a gti is 20mm lower from a non gti Golf (the kit was a 40mm lowering kit)

I've got 15x7s offset 24 on my standard height gti and have a bit of scrubbing when going down dips etc - also want to lower it slightly!
