Title: please help me on this conversion - 1.8 16v KR into a MK1
Post by: kraM on 03 April 2007, 15:07
Hi

I am seriously considering a 16v conversion, I was going to buy a knackered MK2 valve and swap all the bits that way.
Is this me luring myself into a false sense of 'this'll be easy', and it being a complete turd of a job, or not?

Anything inparticular that I need to get that the MK2 will not have, that I will need?

Last thing, the 16v manifold throttle body is on the other side, if any one has done the conversion and has pictures, please could you post one of the engine bay, as I have moved my servo and dunno about the clearance issues.  (I had to put an Audi inlet manifold on, as the 5th injector fouled the mastercylinder)

Thank you for any help

Cheers

kraM
