Title: Cheap eurocarparts rear box, or VAG?

Looks like my rear box is about to die and fall off, and I see that eurocarparts do one for £26 +vat, and a VAG one for £46 +vat.  Anybody have experience of the cheap ones?  If it's only going to last a year, I'll go for the VAG item.

Always go for the best you can afford. I fortunately don´t have such issues as I live in a very dry country. I have only just replaced the entire exhaust on my ´91 Golf. I believe it was the original system fitted.
Unfortunatly, the UK is quite damp and surrounded by salt water, and when I was there , I always went for the best quality. You get what you pay for and are not constantly replacing parts that are inferior quality.
