Title: MK4 1.8T pulling away noise?

hi All

my mk4 1.8T 1999 sometimes in first gear makes the noise of a shovel being dragged across concrete when i pull away.

I get no vibration through the gear stick/clutch pedal or steering rack
I do get a slight vibration through the accelerator pedal.
It only does this in first gear and only once in reverse.
It happens mailny once i have started the car

and finally all other gear changes are smooth at any speed

Any ideas... getting checked out today but could do with some ideas incase anyone else has this trouble
