Title: Need some help
Post by: Cartel on 24 March 2003, 21:39
I recently bought a VW Golf MK3. It is a 1993 model (5 doors) What I would like to know, because I did not get the manual with it, is what is that button on the side of the wiper switch for? If I press it a whole lot of stuff changes on the clock? Is it some sort of Engine Management thing. I dunno?
Thankx

That'll be the MFA.
The normal modes of operation should be self explanatory, but this you might find interesting:-

Its not as fancy as the scirroco one.

basically sliding the switch to either the left or right 0 position (it wont stay there) resets the trip computer.

selection one gives you single journey info

selection two gives you total journey figures

thats it really. hope that helps if you want to know anything else i have the manual.
