Hi all, just sold my beloved 306 Rallye to help pay for my upcoming wedding, so on the lookout for a nice mk2 GTI (8 or 16v). Used to have a mk3 8v that was reliable as hell but a bit boring, still liked it though :)
Anyway, anyone with the right car for me (90 spec, 3dr, reasonable milage, good condition) drop me an email. I've a budget of around £1200 and willing to travel within reasonable distance of Yorkshire.
Cheers!
John

Welcome.
You can pick up Mk3 16v for that money. With a highish mileage mind but then most Mk 2 are high milers.

I've read your sig so I'll watch my words... ;) I really liked my old mk3 but I don't think I'd go there again. This is probably going to be my last chance to own a 20yr old hot hatch before boring grown up things take over, so I'm pretty set on going mk2.

I wish I could live with a 5 door as there seems to be miles more about in my budget. But I can't :(
