Title: Will this Steering wheel fit

I have a 90 spec golf, want to add a different style steery wheel. The one I'm looking at is from a Corrado VR6,1993. Anyone know if the spindle is the same size??  :rolleyes:

I have a somewhat related question too, does anyone know the spline size and count for the smaller splined mk2's? ie the one on earlier models or later ones after you take the adaptor off?
