Title: GTI Fuel Range?

What kind of fuel range are you guys getting out of your GTI's?? I guess I'm looking for Miles / Litres (ultimately MPG obviously)

Sorry this is a little dull!

360 miles per tank of super unleaded with about 20-30 'miles' of showing.

Seems to be averaging 34mpg on a mixed run.

Around town, mid to high 20's. 'A' roads low 30's. Motorways anything up to 35-36 with cruise. Low fuel (40 miles to go) warning usually comes on around 380 miles.

300 to a full tank on tesco 99, tank avearge on highline says 27.1 mpg about , 12 hrs driving time, on combined cycle. i live in a town so have lots of stop starts hense lower then everyone elses, theres NO WAY mine will do alanh's claimed 380 miles!!! :undecided:  or those peeps drive at 50 mph on motorways perminatly!!

380 does sound loads.

Well I'm going to be anal and keep a history of fuel tank fill ups. Actually having written that and re-read it, mybe I won't, I'm turning into a real dull idot!!  :grin:

Ok, back in the fast lane - I had a little play last night against my friend in his Type R. The ED30 don't half go! in 200 metres my trip fuel went from showing 340 miles to empty to 300!!!

Hi - I didnt think there was a need to start a new thread on this on but on a similiar note can anyone post figures of how many miles a full tank will last in the r32? Thanks.

I managed 315 last night averaged 27.8 MPG

I Get about 280 Miles to a tank around town on normal unleaded with aprox 12k on the clock.

I get 320 to 340 per tank of v-power (computer says about 31 mpg).  Car has done 13.5k and is 13 mths old.  Driving is a mainly shorter journeys (up to 20 miles).

275 miles - B road and town driving.
approx £50+ for full tank of higher octaine.

I must be driving like a pussy :embarassed:

Just got down my first tank (please bear in mind I am running the engine in :wink:)

325 miles in 3 days before the 30miles left fuel warning light came on

BP ultimate - so my dealer says.

Don't think my next fill will get the same miles out though :rolleyes:
