Title: Locking Wheel Nuts
Post by: goap on 27 March 2007, 12:31
Are there locking wheel nuts as standard on Mk V?

I couldn't find any mention of it in the manual, I couldn't see a locking nut, and I don't have a locking nut attachment, so I am assuming not.

But it would be nice to know for sure . . .

For sure. There should be the connector in the assembly by the spare wheel. It's a star-headed arrangement. No way of removing the wheel nuts without it.

All UK spec Golf Vs with alloys come with locking wheel nuts - well "bolts", just to be pedantic!  :nerd:
