Title: Stupid Newbie CD Changer Question

Morning all, I'm a newbie to the world of Golf GTi's and have a straight forward question.

My girlie has a MKIV Golf GTi (PD130 Oil Burner), it has the Gamma head unit and I have recently purchased a CD Changer off ebay - here's the problem - can I find that blimmin' square connector? Can I bollox!

Is it a standard part of the wiring loom? and if it isn't, is the 'length of the car' wire available?

The loom is unlikely to be fitted to your car if the CD changer was not factory installed.

You will need to buy the fitting kit from the stealer for the princely sum of ?50. This includes both the loom and the mounting bracket. Unfortunately you cannot buy only the loom separately from VW, even if you already have a secondhand bracket - you might get lucky on Ebay or from a scrapper though!
