Post by: DazVR6 on 26 March 2007, 21:30
Looking to buy a mk4 golf TDI but as ive been looking through the adds ive come across some golf SDI's, what are these? i take it they are not turbo charged like the TDI's. Are they any good?

68bhp and 16.6s to 60 according to parkers!!!

My mate has one and to be honest it doesn't feel that slow. That's only as a passenger though, i've never driven it.

i always thought it mean Sh1t Direct Injection

if you want a fun diesel go for either the GT TDI 130 or 150 depending on your budget, and how long you want to spend waiting for a good spec 150 to come along.

ive got a lot of time for Tdi......, but i wouldn’t touch a non turbo D, unless i was looking for better mpg, they weight sh!t loads, so its going be mega sh!t on 0 - 60 without force induction. i.e. im gonna be drawing my pension before you get to 60 mph
