Title: Scorpian Alarm
Post by: Mboy on 22 March 2007, 22:08
Hi, The alarm has stopped working on my GTI,the central locking still works but have to be locked by the key not the fob,had the fobs checked and they're working fine so i reckon the junction box is faulty. Found the box behind the glove box and think its the factory fitted standard scorpian alarm.Believe scorpian alarms went bust years ago so does anyone know where (or if !) i can get the junction box fixed ??

they're not bust but the model is obsolete and they no longer support it. best to buy a new one as repairing it could be difficult without parts or schematics even for an electronics engineer, its what I do and they won't supply drawings for the internal circuits. without them its hard to repair.

Are alarms easy to fit ? would it be a case of taking the old alarm out and starting again or as all the wires are already sourced just reconnecting a new junction box to the wires that are already there?
