Title: Noisy with more weight

hello,

Was wondering if anyone could help me,
My Mk3 GTI Seems to create more noise from the exhaust or somewhere when there are more people in the car,
I never notice it with 2 people but instantly more noisy when I start up and when running with 4 people?
Does any one have any suggestions?

yep, I had this after I had a new middle and rear box put on, the exhaust doesn't clear the crossmember by a lot. Check your exhaust rubbers aren't snapped or stretched, (replace if so) if not, fiddle with the joints until it sits towards the top of the aperture.

You'll know what I mean if you stick yer heed under the car just in front of the read passenger side wheel.
